In a batch reactor using cells as catalysts, after adding the reaction matrix, sterilization (or adding a sterilized culture medium to the sterilized reactor), inoculation, and maintain a certain reaction conditions to proceed the reaction . After inoculation, except for aerobic reaction, sterile air is required during the reaction, antifoaming agent used to eliminate foam, and acid and alkali used to maintain a certain pH value.     A reactor that uses continuous operation is called a continuous reactor. The characteristic of this mode of operation is that the raw materials are continuously fed into the reactor, and the reaction products are continuously discharged from the reactor. The composition of the system in any part of the anti-ballast does not change with time, so continuous operation of the reactor is mostly a steady-state operation. The continuous operation reactor generally has the advantages of stable product quality and high production efficiency, and is suitable for large-scale production of Ding. In particular, it can overcome the shortcomings that the reaction caused by the exhaustion of nutrient substrates or the accumulation of harmful metabolites in the cell reaction during the inter-European operation can only be carried out for a limited period of time. For continuous operation, a new matrix can be continuously added to the reactor at a certain flow rate, and the reaction solution can be continuously taken out at an interphase flow rate, so that the nutrients required by the cells can be continuously replenished, and harmful metabolites are continuously diluted and discharged , Biochemical anti-powder can go on continuously and steadily. However, continuous operation is generally prone to contamination by bacteria, and the operation time is too long, and the cells are prone to degeneration and mutation.

    Semi-batch semi-continuous operation means that only one of the raw materials and products is continuous input or output, while the rest is batch or input operation. The corresponding reactor is called semi-batch reactor or semi-continuous reactor. Semi-batch operation is an operation that combines certain characteristics of both batch operation and continuous operation. Semi-batch operation is particularly important for biochemical reactions. For example, there is a cell reaction with matrix inhibition. When the matrix concentration is too high, it will inhibit cell growth. If semi-batch and semi-continuous operation is used, the matrix concentration can be controlled. At a lower level to relieve its inhibitory effect. For cell reaction, this kind of semi-batch semi-continuous operation is often called fed-batch culture, or fed-batch operation technology. During this operation, the volume of the reaction liquid gradually increases due to the addition of feed, and the reaction liquid should be discharged from the reactor to a certain time. If only part of the reaction liquid is taken out, the remaining reaction liquid continues to be fed and cultured, and the feeding and feeding operations are repeated several times. This method is also called repeated feeding or repeated feeding operation.
